Pumpkin Maca Tahini Dip
/This incredible combination of anti-oxidant rich pumpkin with savory tahini and seasonal fall spices like ginger and cinnamon is a perfect accompaniment to any fall gathering. Maca gives this dip a slightly-nutty hint and helps support energy and hormone balance.
Serve with a beautiful assortment of vegetables and crackers for a dairy-free appetizer board or use as a wrap spread with matchstick veggies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup pumpkin (can used canned, organic) 
- 1/2 cup tahini (sesame butter) 
- 3 cloves garlic, minced 
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 
- 1 tablespoon maca powder (can leave out if desired) 
- Juice from 2 lemons 
- 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger 
- 1 tsp ground turmeric 
- 1/2 tsp sea salt (or to taste) 
- Pinch of black pepper 
Instructions
Blend together in a food processor. Add water or olive oil to thin if desired. Serve with cut-up veggies, crackers, plantain chips, pretzels or spread on a wrap.
