Pumpkin Spice Smoothie
/This fall-like smoothie features some of my favorite hormone-balancing superfoods like flaxseed, maca, turmeric and cinnamon as well as high fiber to help eliminate excess estrogens.
Ingredients
1/4 cup pumpkin (organic, canned is fine)
1/2 banana
1 cup carrot greens (sub in spinach or kale)
1 tbsp flaxseed
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin spice
1 scoop plant-based protein powder - (add 1 tsp vanilla extract if unflavored)
water + ice to preferred thickness
Optional:
1 tsp maca
1/4 tsp turmeric
