Pumpkin Spice Smoothie

This fall-like smoothie features some of my favorite hormone-balancing superfoods like flaxseed, maca, turmeric and cinnamon as well as high fiber to help eliminate excess estrogens.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup pumpkin (organic, canned is fine)

  • 1/2 banana

  • 1 cup carrot greens (sub in spinach or kale)

  • 1 tbsp flaxseed

  • 1 tbsp almond butter

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice

  • 1 scoop plant-based protein powder - (add 1 tsp vanilla extract if unflavored)

  • water + ice to preferred thickness

    Optional:

  • 1 tsp maca

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
