Berry Good Belly Smoothie
/Set your belly up for a good day ahead by enjoying this fiber-rich, good bacteria boosting smoothie. Also helpful in restoring your gut health after overindulging, recovering from a stressful time or recuperating from a virus or a course of antibiotics.
Ingredients
1 small handful spinach
½ cup dairy-free kefir or dairy-free yogurt, unsweetened
1 oz. aloe vera juice
1 tbsp ground flax seed
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla (to sweeten)
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 teaspoon ginger root (sub: 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger)
1-2 cups of filtered water, to taste preference
